CYCLE |
|
Beginner cycling sessions are held on Wednesday mornings starting at 5:30am. These sessions are for those new to cycling and are suitable for people who have never used cleats before and haven't been on a road bike. The group sessions work on a range of skills and are individually paced so you don't need to worry about keeping up with everyone on the bike and can go at the speed you are comfortable with. While any bike is suitable for those on the 6 week beginner course the regular Wednesday morning session does require everyone to be on road bikes. Group rides are held on various Saturdays throughout the year and are more frequent in the winter months. The third group will cover a distance of 50-60km at a speed of 24-26 km/hr. These are great sessions to improve your cycling however you should only attempt the long Saturday sessions after attending the Wednesday morning first and speaking to the coach. |

There are two groups on a Tuesday morning with one coach taking the second group made up of beginners and those who run 3 km in over 14 minutes or 10 km in over 55 minutes. |
